No two Charlotte inspections look alike. In a single week we might be in a new build off Providence, a hundred-year-old house in Plaza Midwood and a small commercial unit. The standard does not change; what we are looking for does.
Charlotte’s established neighbourhoods come with the things older houses come with — original panels still in service, cast iron and galvanised plumbing near the end of its life, additions built without permits, crawlspaces nobody has been under in years. These are the inspections where thermal imaging earns its place, and it is included rather than sold to you as an extra.
A large share of our Charlotte work is on brand-new houses. Two moments matter: pre-drywall, while the framing, wiring and plumbing are still visible, and the final walkthrough before you sign. New does not mean finished, and the builder’s inspector does not work for you.
Most Charlotte resales we inspect also need a wood-destroying insect report. That is carried out by a separate licensed termite company, not by us — but we handle the coordinating, so you book once and we line the rest up rather than leaving you to chase two firms on the way to closing.
